Inverness & Surrounds

Castles, Loch Ness & Monster!

Like other tours this can be customised to suit. Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns would be included. Other options include Cawdor Castle with its magnificent gardens.  Inverness town centre has many interesting visits including the reopening Inverness Castle. Visit Leakeys iconic Bookshop site of the Old Gaelic Church where Jacobite prisoners were held after Culloden. Onward to Abertarff House the oldest house in Inverness built in 1593 and briefly associated with the Lovat Frasers. The afternoon would see us heading for the shores of Loch Ness with the option to explore Urquhart Castle. This can be combined with a Boat Trip of the Loch which we will happily organise. For a more indepth Monster experience we can visit the hour long Loch Ness Exhibition Centre.  And of course Highland Coos are a staple part of every tour.
